PTA Meeting focused on Diversity and Inclusion

The PTA meeting on Tuesday night focused on Diversity and Inclusion. The following people gave updates or presentations:

During the meeting, Emily Pierce showed this video of middle school students speaking about their experiences with race. Missed the PTA Meeting?

On Wednesday, Rolling Terrace parents and students joined RT teachers and administrators, students and parents from the Highly Gifted Centers, and students and administrators from area Middle Schools for an informative evening at the PTA meeting. In case you missed the Rolling Terrace staff and Highly Gifted Center presentations, their handouts have been assembled in this document in both English and Spanish. The document includes information on Spanish Immersion, ESOL, Math, and the Highly Gifted Centers.

First PTA Meeting of 2015-2016 School Year

The first PTA meeting for the 2015-2016 school year was held on September 9th in the All Purpose Room at Rolling Terrace.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

PTA meeting, PTA President, Lisa Seigel, received a $5,000 check from Lucy Neher, Safe Routes to Schools Coordinator for the City of Takoma Park.
